I own small travel agency in Vasai which I have started 2 years ago. I have taken a loan from the bank to start this business. Even with less business I have been managing things so far. However now with the Railway’s new rule, barring agents from Tatkal ticket bookings between 8am-9am, I fear I will lose everything.
How can the IRCTC take a decision like this knowing fully well that the livelihood of so many people depends on that! A ruling like this will kill my business and my sole sou

I agree with you, it is a very wrong thing on the part of the government to take a decision like this. It is unfair and one-sided. I hope like you more people protest about it and we can get noticed

I guess its Affecting the Poor & the helpless alot. i guess people who do not posses an Internet Connection or a Computer are helpless now in case of emergency. i don't think they have an option apart from going to the railway station & stand in long queue's to get their Tatkal tickets. but i dont think every time this will be possible for every person in need for a tatkal ticket. i think IRCTC should seriously re-think.

I completely agree to all of you above. well its surely affecting the Ticketing Business. Major business was generated through tatkal Ticket booking which now has been stopped. i guess its not only restricting Revenue flow but also disturbing common man's life. People are not able to book their tatkal tickets now a days, so where are they suppose to go now.
Nor the agents can help them in any case now. both the parties are now completely helpless.
